Miranda Lynn Anderson
CDL-A heavy-haul driver since 2014, builder of things between loads, and always chasing the next horizon.
Howdy, I'm Miranda 🤠
I've been hauling heavy equipment on lowboys since 2014. Between loads I'm building things: web apps for the trucking world, gauges for my old cabover, avionics for small aircraft, and a pile of 3D prints.
I love work that's practical, tough and a little bit pretty. That goes for my builds, my truck and me.
Life on the road
Heavy haul
Oversize loads and heavy equipment on a lowboy: excavators, dozers and whatever the job site needs.
Muddy job sites
Not every delivery is on pavement. Some days the work is getting in, unloading, and getting back out.
Long miles
Lots of sunrises from the cab, and plenty of time to dream up the next build.
Projects
BOL Web App
A self-hosted bill-of-lading web app for heavy-haul loads, built mobile-first for the cab.
FLB Gauge Cluster
A Raspberry Pi digital dash for my 1994 Freightliner FLB cabover.
3D Printing
Functional parts and fun prints, mostly in tough PETG.
Dreams
A few someday plans I keep close.
Rio Dulce, Guatemala
Someday, life on the river: a boat to call home, or a little house right on the water.
The Pan-American
An overland expedition down the Americas in my Jeep Gladiator, one border and one sunrise at a time.
A tiny home on wheels
A 53-foot dry van turned relocatable tiny home, pulled by my 1994 Freightliner FLB, with a rear garage for my Daihatsu Hijet.
Little Load Trucking
My own small hauling company, running the FLB in white over deep plum with 90s-style stripes.
Miranda Lynn Aviation
Avionics for ultralights & experimental aircraft
I'm building a combined flight display (EFIS) and engine monitor for light aircraft.
